Lost Children

The project Lost Children consists of one hundred and fourteen portraits of children and adolescents. The works were created from photographs that IngertEriksson found in archives of missing people in Europe after World War II. She has interpreted these images and life stories in embroidery and chosen to work in textiles to achieve a soft and tactile expression. A recurring theme in her work is norms and power structures.
