Anders Sunna
The works of Anders Sunna articulate a sense of picturesque brutality that corresponds well with the subjects many layers of signs, symbols and figures. Threatful authoritarian architecture erupt through nordic landscapes, many times serving as a backdrop to interpersonal conflicts. With collage, oil paint, acrylics and spray paint, Sunna creates dark panoramas juxtaposed with delicate surfaces.
Anders Sunna studied at the University of Arts, Crafts and Design, Stockholm (2006 - 2009) and atUmeå Academy of Fine Arts (2004 - 2006).
